This coyote playing golf in a backyard alone knows how to have a good time
Did you know coyotes can't pass up a chance to play golf in a backyard?
Well, maybe some of them can, but not this playful scamp who was seen tossing a golf ball around on someone's personal putting green.
According to the video description, on May 22, a coyote wandered into a Tarzana, California, backyard and brushed up on its golf skills. The owner of the Ring camera said that after about three minutes the coyote left, but perhaps it will return for another midnight game sometime soon.
Next time you're bored or feeling a little lonely, remember this coyote and know that you don't need another person to have fun. If this coyote can throw a golf ball around for like three minutes, you can entertain yourself, too. Read more...

The real star of the SpaceX astronaut launch was a sparkly stuffed dinosaur
The only thing cooler than humans going to space is humans going to space with an adorable stuffed animal.
On Saturday afternoon, NASA launched astronauts into space aboard the Crew Dragon, a spacecraft built by Elon Musk's company, SpaceX. The two NASA astronauts who launched into orbit were Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley, but they didn't embark on their historic journey alone. They brought a sparkly stuffed dinosaur to keep them company.
Now, the two astronauts are cool as hell, obviously. But in some ways, this little stuffed pal was the star of the launch. The light bouncing off the dino's sequins really caught the camera, and when the spaceship reached zero gravity he slid out of his seatbelt and gracefully floated up towards the lens. Read more...

Waymo's self-driving minivans will return to California streets in June
Waymo is ready to get back to the business of being on the streets of California.
The Alphabet-owned company shut down a public testing program for its self-driving minivans in early March, as the global pandemic started to reshape society in the United States. Now that fleet will reportedly return to the streets of San Francisco on June 8.
That revelation comes from a company email obtained by The Verge, which reported the news on Saturday. The self-driving fleet will apparently be running deliveries for a pair of non-profits: Wendy McNaughton's #DrawTogether, which sets local kids up with art kits; and Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Billie Eilish is absolutely fed up with people saying 'All Lives Matter'
Billie Eilish isn't afraid to speak out against injustice.
On Saturday, the 18-year-old singer posted a blunt and lengthy statement to her 63.3 million Instagram followers to address the death of George Floyd.
Since Floyd died on May 25 after a Minnesota police officer pressed his knee against Floyd's neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds, protests against racism and police brutality have taken place across the United States.
Celebrities such as Taylor Swift have started using their giant platforms to help raise awareness and amplify an urgent need for change in America, and now Eilish is joining in. Eilish posted a statement written in her Notes app that detailed a plea for white people to understand their own privilege and use it to help those in need. Read more...

Meet the cute stuffed dinosaur that hitched a ride on SpaceX’s historic launch
Astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley had some company on their historic flight to space today: a stuffed dinosaur tucked into one of the seats on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon.
The toy was spotted during preparations for launch on Wednesday and Saturday, and geophysicist Mika McKinnon quickly identified it on Twitter as seeming to be a TY Flippables Tremor Dinosaur. On Saturday shortly after the astronauts entered orbit, SpaceX’s store featured a new item called a ‘Demo 2 Dinosaur Plush Toy’ for $25.
This particular toy’s backstory hasn’t been revealed yet, but toys like this have flown with astronauts and cosmonauts for years. When the toy starts floating, it indicates to the buckled-in passengers that they’ve reached zero-g...
