Earlier this year, GM announced it's bringing the Hummer back. On Wednesday, it revealed its electric compact SUV, a competitor to Tesla's Model Y.
It's called the Cadillac Lyriq (yes, with a "q"). GM will share more details in April, shortly before it shows off its electric Hummer on May 20. Production on the Hummer will start at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant in fall 2021.
Two new versions of the Chevy Bolt are coming, too. One will launch later this year. The Bolt EUV will launch in summer 2021. That Bolt will include the hands-free, semi-autonomous driving system Super Cruise. So far only Cadillac models offer the driver assistance system, but it'll be available in 22 different vehicles by 2023. Take that Tesla. (Super Cruise is an Autopilot competitor.) Read more...
