PAYING to park in most of Warrington's council-owned car parks is set to increase in cost by around 20 per cent from next week. From Monday prices will be rising at car parks in the town centre, Stockton Heath and Lymm. Rises vary between 20p and 70p. The majority of the increases will be 20 per cent. For the car park next to the Town Hall, it will be 50 per cent. Car parks affected are those at the Town Hall, Winwick Street, Time Square as well as the Forge in Stockton Heath, Pepper Street, Henry Street and Davies Way in Lymm.
