GROUPS aiming to launch projects to improve health and employment opportunities in six areas of Warrington are being offered help on how to apply for grants of up to £10,000.
The Coalfields Community Investment Programme is offering one-to-one support sessions at an event hosted by Warrington Voluntary Action.
Sessions will provide comprehensive information on the eligibility criteria and how to apply for funding for projects that will improve the health, employment opportunities and skills of people living in former coalfield areas.
The six areas are:
* Bewsey and Whitecross
* Burtonwood and Winwick
* Fairfield and Howley
* Orford
* Poplars and Hulme
* Poulton North
The number of places available is limited so booking is necessary and the sessions will take place at The Gateway, Sankey Street, Warrington, on May 16 between 10am and 12.30pm
