EMERGENCY services were called to Lymm tonight after two cars collided on the A56.
The crash occured shortly before 7pm at the junction with Lakeside Road.
Police controlled traffic as paramedics treated casualties at the scene.
At least one person was taken to hospital.
One of the vehicles appeared to have collided with a sandstone wall after the initial impact.
