PLANS for four new affordable apartments for rent on land off Longshaw Street, Warrington are to be put to borough council planning chiefs.
The apartments, within a two-storey block, sub-divided centrally and joined by a short, flat-roofed link, is proposed for a former garage site which was cleared several years ago and is currently an area of open, hard-standing.
To the north is open land, to the east the rear gardens of houses in Marshall Avenue and to the south and west, semi-detached properties on Dagnall Avenue and Longsaw Street.
Dallam local centre is within a two-minute walk and has a convenience store, pharmacy and 20 new properties approved in 2015 as part of a wider regeneration of the area.
The borough’s development management committee is being recommended to approve the scheme.
