Man alleged to have tried to bite police officer

A MAN was alleged to have tried to bite a police officer during an incident at Warrington overnight.
Police were called to Appleton in connection with an alleged domestic assault.
During the arrest of the man, he is alleged to have tried to bite the officer.
He is now being held in custody.
