VIDEO: A FULL road closure was put in place on the A57 Manchester Road at Woolston, Warrington, this morning after a car burst into flames.
Firefighters from Birchwood went to the scene and found the vehicle well alight. One firefighters wore breathing apparatus as the crew used two hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
The incident was at 6.39am. The road has now re-opened.
In another incident, a crew from Warrington went to Bewsey Farm Close to tackle a fire in a metal container on a farm. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze with a hose reel jet.
