Woodland blaze at Appleton

FIREFIGHTERS were called out to Dingle Lane, Appleton, yesterday (Monday) when a fire was discovered in woodland.
The blaze was extinguished using a hose reel jet and the crew, from Warrington, were at the scene for about half an hour.
Earlier, firefighters were called to another fire in woodland, off Knutsford Road, Warrington and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
No details of the cause of either fire have been released.
