The U.S. tour may be over but it doesn’t only have to reside in the memories of those who were there. Live from the Theater of Living Arts, here’s another live recording from our man at the barrier Mr GaryUK. In the interests of being a good host, I will say that the volume of Ed’s drums does cause some distortion in places but it’s nothing you can’t live with. This is still a fine piece of Editors aural narcotic and many thanks to you Gary for taking the time to make it available. There’s a good reason why your posts are always the more popular ones here at the Archive.

So you’ll all be familiar with the running order but it’s not something you should get too used to. Having seen the set from Warrington a few days ago I can tell you that there was some serious trimming down. I think once they reach the headline slots of the festival campaign season it will increase in length, but the stage time at Neighbourhood Weekender was 7 tracks shorter than the regular duration. Plus, they’re going to be facing more audiences with mixed musical tastes so you’ll also probably see a change in the song selection, as they rely more heavily on the well known numbers. This will not only appease the faithful but it should hopefully convert more happy cats to the glum, let’s-all-wear-a-black-jumper wonders of moodcore. For now, though, this is Editors live from Philadelphia 18th May 2018..
