Arson attack on car at Orford

POLICE are investigating after arsonists set fire to a car at Warrington last night.
The blaze involved a blue BMW saloon car on the driveway of a house in Honister Avenue, Orford, shortly after 7.30pm.
The car was well alight when firefighters arrived at the scene but was extinguished with a hose reel jet. Breathing apparatus were usedd because of the heavyh smoke in the area.
Crews spent a further hour at the scene, damping down to ensure the fire was completely out.
Anyone wioth information about it is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 850 of February 23.
In another incident, firefighters from Lymm dealt with a blaze involving leaves outside High Legh Garden Centre.
