A fire involving a large industrial bin on Wilderspool Causeway during the early hours of this morning is believed to have been started deliberately.
On arrival shortly after 2am firefighters discovered a large industrial bin well alight and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters were at the scene for around 10 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and police have been informed about the incident.
Anyone with information about the fire should call Cheshire Police on 101.
