A KITCHEN fire at a house in Warrington today was tackled by the occupants.
The blaze was in Banks Crescent, Latchford shortly after 9.30am and a fire crew from Lymm was sent to the scene.
But by the time they arrived, the occupants of the house had extinguished the blaze themselves.
An overheated grill pan was the cause of the outbreak.
Firefighters used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property. They were at the scene for only about 15 minutes.
