Taking place in the beautifully refurbished Old Riding School at Walton Hall and Gardens, this month’s Artisan Market was a hit with shoppers and stallholders alike. The 19th century building, which is located in the Heritage Yard, recently underwent a six figure facelift having been out of use to the public for more than100 years.
For dozens of traders selling a wide range of items, many of which were hand crafted, organically grown or environmentally friendly products, trade was brisk with some stallholders even selling out of stock. By bringing together some of the regions finest Artisan food, drink, arts and crafts producers, alongside some fabulous entertainment the market is becoming a very popular attraction with local patrons.
The organisers have now launched a free parking scheme which will make the already popular event even better value and more attractive to bargain hunters from across the town. Free parking tickets can be obtained from the Warrington Retail Market for the October event.
Markets are held on the last Sunday of the month the next being on October 28th.
