MORE than 500 pupils, staff and parents from St Wilfrid’s CE Primary School, Grappenhall, took part in the school’s first-ever Colour Run.
Organised by the Parent Teacher Association, the idea was to raise funds for the school – and also get fit and healthy.
Running round the school grounds, the participants got covered in paint of multi-colours but thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Money raised will towards brand new playground equipment to ensure the children enjoy an active and fun playtime throughout the year
Lots of happy – and colourful – faces crossed the finishing line to receive medals.
