Estate residents spread some Christmas cheer

RESIDENTS of Warrington’s Edgewater Park estate joined together to spread a little Christmas cheer.
For the second year running, residents gathered around a piano to sing while enjoying mince pies and mulled wine.
Paul Shannon, Edgewater Park Committee chairman, said: “All residents get involved, from donations of food and drink, to our local musicians Sara McKenna leading the singing and Rob Fordham playing the piano. It really is becoming a cherished festive event for the local community.
“During the event residents were already discussing how to make the event bigger and better for next year. It’s really positive to see whole community actively involved and we can’t wait for the next one.”
Edgewater Park Residents Committee was setup to benefit of the residents of the Latchford estate by associating together and by interacting with local authorities and other organisations in a common effort to advance community integration.
