VIDEO:THERE has been a “staggering turn around” in Warrington town centre over the past five years according to a local property expert – with more exciting changes and improvements ahead.
Hot on the heels of the 21st annual Warrington Property Review, hosted by Warrington & Co, Commercial property expert Callum Morgan, joined the #LoveWarrington show team, for a tour of the town centre.
The team looked at the decline of the high street in Sankey Street, with the loss of major high street stores like Marks & Spencer, TJ Hughes, the 99p store and many more, in comparison to the exciting development of Time Square and the booming Cultural Quarter.
With more focus on encouraging people to start living in the town centre, Callum predicts an exciting future over the next five years.
He said: “Since arriving back in Warrington after finishing university five years ago the turn around in the town centre has been staggering – and there are even more interesting times ahead,” he said.
With Warrington & Co set to announce the first new major high street restaurant to occupy the new Time Square development and the multi screen cinema due to open around the turn of the year, there looks set to be plenty to be positive about. Watch this space!
