TRANSPORT police would like to speak to this man after a series bikes – worth at least £1200 – were stolen from railway stations in the Warrington area..
The bikes were taken from Birchwood and Warrington Bank Quay stations between September 13 and 24.
Officers would like to speak to the man in this CCTV image as it is believed that he may have information which could help the investigation.
A spokesperson said: “If the man in the image looks familiar or you have any other information which could help the investigation, please call 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting 495 of  September 13. Alternatively, you can ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Bicycles remain a popular target for thieves. We advise cyclists to invest in a good quality D lock and get their bikes securely marked and registered at www.bikeregister.com.
Getting cycles registered helps police trace recovered cycles and return them to their owners while making them less appealing to would-be thieves.
